VootCoin is a new cryptocurrency which launched yesterday. It used the X11 algorithm, and was scheduled to have a brief mining period followed by proof of stake (PoS). X11 cryptocurrencies have been hot recently, as well as PoS cryptocurrencies, so the combination of the 2 was guaranteed to attract a lot of community interest. Additionally VootCoin was supposedly going to open its own ‘DarkVootMarket’, which would basically be an alternate version of Silk Road.
